The Sacrament of Holy Orders is the sacred calling by which men are ordained to serve the Church as deacons, priests, or bishops. Through the laying on of hands and the prayer of consecration, the Holy Spirit sets them apart to preach the Word, celebrate the sacraments, and shepherd God’s people. This lifelong vocation is a profound expression of Christ’s own love and service to His Church.

In our Catholic Community of Parishes, we give thanks for those who have answered this call and serve faithfully among us. We also pray that more will listen to the quiet invitation of the Lord, “Come, follow me.” Whether through ordained ministry or the priesthood of all believers, each of us shares in the mission of building up the Body of Christ and bringing His light to the world.
